At just 15 years old, Angel Dusauzay has already made an incredible impact as an autistic advocate, author, and public speaker. She wrote all three of her books – The Awesome Autistic Girl’s Guide to Life, Brilliant Autistic Boy’s Guide to Life, and Loved Just As You Are – at the age of 14, sharing her lived experiences to inspire understanding, acceptance, and inclusion.
Angel has been featured on BBC Newsround since the age of 7, and has continued to use her voice to educate and empower through appearances at major events such as the West Midlands Autism Fayre and the South Yorkshire Autism Fayre. She has also spoken in schools across the UK, helping pupils, teachers, and communities embrace neurodiversity and celebrate autistic children for who they are. Her passion for advocacy has also been recognised through her BBC Radio Sheffield interviews, where she has spoken powerfully about creating a world that welcomes every child, just as they are.
